When patients have concerns regarding stained, worn or chipped teeth we will often recommend fixing the problem by using veneers. Porcelain veneers, which simply consist of wafer thin shells of porcelain, give the most realistic restoration and are hand crafted before being bonded to the front of your teeth. In order to do this, the front tooth surface must be very carefully prepared before placement. To ensure that clients will be happy with their final look we use temporary veneers so that they can preview the shape and colour before the permanent porcelain veneer is finally bonded. Not only are porcelain veneers great for covering up unwanted stains and chips, but they are also extremely successful when used to close gaps between teeth.
