Kirsty

Kirsty

Hello, I’m Kirsty, I’m the head nurse at City Dental. As well as doing my dental nursing qualification I recently also completed a radiography qualification. I have over 10 years’ experience as a dental nurse. I am able to help patients feel at ease, aware of their anxiety and sometimes fear. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is seeing how happy patients are after completing cosmetic treatment.

I also spend time as a treatment co-ordinator at the practice. I enjoy this role as it gives me an opportunity to talk to patients and answer any question they may have about their treatment.

I love my job as I am lucky to work with such an amazing team at City Dental. I am given opportunities to improve my skills by attending courses regularly.

In my spare time I enjoy training for different events. I recently completed a Triathlon. I also love spending time with my friends and family, especially my gorgeous niece and nephew.

Nicola

Nicola

Hi, I’m Nicola. I qualified from Leeds Dental Institute in 2005. I’m one of the hygienists at City Dental and it’s my job to look after your oral health and check that your gums and mouth are healthy. I will also clean your teeth and offer advice on how to maintain a good oral hygiene programme at home, including the use of toothbrushes, dental floss and mouthwash. Prevention is the key to a healthy smile and our aim here at City Dental is to ensure that we take good care of your smile.

When I’m not at work I enjoy socialising with my friends and going to the gym ( I’m participating in The Great North Run this year so the gym is necessary).

Hi, I'm Rosie and I'm one of the nurses here at City Dental. I have been a dental nurse for 3 years and I joined this practice in 2015 and love the team I work with. I am trained in implant surgery and orthodontic treatments as well as starting my qualification in radiography. Being a dental nurse is such a rewarding occupation as I get to see patients whether it's for a dental problem or cosmetic treatment and watch them leave with a new confidence and gratitude. I am always happy to help and ease the patients journey.

In my down time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading and baking.

Katie

Hi! I’m Katie and I have recently been welcomed to the team at City Dental as a dental nurse.

I have always had an interest in dentistry and have been dental nursing since I left school 6 years ago. I’ve enjoyed progressing and learning the different aspects of the job and meeting lots of new and interesting people. I particularly enjoy watching the transformations of orthodontic treatment and seeing the huge difference it makes for people. I am a patient person and caring to all those around me.

As I have recently moved to Leeds I am enjoying spending my free time getting to know the vibrant city.
