I take part in dental public health initiatives and am especially interested in research and publication. I’ve contributed to many projects, including one exploring the impact of antibiotic resistance on dental care.
I’m committed to staying up-to-date with evidence-based dentistry to provide my patients with personalised, science-supported care.
In my free, I love to travel and sample new cuisines.
Hi, I’m Nicola. I qualified from Leeds Dental Institute in 2005.I’m the hygienist here at City Dental and I joined the practice in 2006. It is my job to look after your oral health and check that your gums and mouth are healthy. I will also clean your teeth and offer advice on how to maintain a good oral hygiene programme at home, including the use of toothbrushes, tepe brushes and dental floss. Prevention is the key to a healthy smile and our aim here at City Dental is to ensure that we take good care of your smile. When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with family, socialising with my friends, going on walks with my dog and going to the gym.
Hi, I'm Abi! I've recently joined City Dental as a Dental nurse as I’ve just got married and moved from Lancashire to Yorkshire. What attracted me to Dental nursing was the fact that no two days are the same and there’s always new fun and interesting aspects to learn and experience and now I’ve got 4 years Dental Nursing experience. I am a bubbly, warm character and express this with patients making them feel at ease. One of my favourite aspects of my job is watching the way cosmetic treatment can change someone’s life - not only in their appearance but seeing their confidence in their new smile shine through too, it really is one of the most rewarding feelings. After joining City Dental they have made me feel very welcome and right at home which has helped me a lot with moving away from family, I feel very lucky to be apart of such a lovely team!
In my spare time I enjoy socialising with friends and family and settling into this new city with my husband.

Hi, I'm Amy!
I've only recently joined City Dental, but feel I have been part of the City Dental family for years! They have been so welcoming, and I am extremely lucky to be part of such an amazing team! I am a fully qualified dental nurse; I gained my qualification in 2016. As you can tell by my accent I moved from Hertfordshire to Leeds 5 years ago, and have not looked back since! I've been described as being a warm and welcoming individual, what drew me to become a Dental nurse was the thought of making people feel comfortable and relaxed in an environment that can be quite daunting. I am always happy to have a little chat with patients and even the occasional hand holding, when need be!
Aside from work, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I also like going to Cabaret/theatre shows at any given opportunity! I also enjoy singing and dancing too (even though I may not be very good at it!)
Hi I'm Bryna!
I have recently moved to Leeds from New Zealand with my partner. I was a qualified dental nurse for 4 years working in general dentistry and orthodontics but am now starting my new journey as a receptionist here at City Dental! I hope to be a welcoming face to all patients when they come into the practice and help in any way I can.
Outside of work I like spending time with my family/friends, walking my dog, exploring different areas and traveling when I can.

In my spare time, I enjoy going on walks and site seeing. I love illustrating as I have a passion for anything arty. I also like music and enjoy a good gig!
